Victim's Compensation
This is a government aid to the community regardless of their immigration status, offered to victims of crime or dependents of victims of homicide.
Victim's comp offers up to $25,000 to cover funeral costs, medical or dental costs, equipment, medications, therapies, make up for lost wages, clean up the crime scene, help with security, and therapy for parents of victims. of minors. Those qualified for this assistance are people who were victims of crime who were made a report with the police within 5 days of the event.
