ITIN ITIN (Individual Tax Identification Number) and Income Tax Filling ITIN & Income Tax Due to restrictions on funding received from the United Way of Greater Fall River, we can only offer these services to residents of Fall River, Somerset, Swansea, Assonet, Little Compton, Tiverton, and Westport. If you don't live in these cities, look for the VITA program that offers these services. (Explanatory video here ) ​ This funding allow us to pay the accounting company to come to our office to offer these services free of charge to people making up to $60,000 per year. To apply for the ITIN, the accountant must also issue your income tax return. You must have arrived in the country in the previous year or earlier.
